What is an Inox finish?

Inox is an abbreviation for the Italian word "inossidabile", referring to a metal with stainless properties. Stainless steel is a metal material and not a finish. A firearm labeled as "Inox" indicates that some or all of the pistol is made of Stainless steel metal which is usually left unfinished giving a silver color appearance to the firearm as opposed to the normal blue or black firearms finish. Please note that stainless steel is more rust resistant but not rust proof, you must maintain a coat of oil on the firearm surfaces prevent any rusting from occurring.
