What is the significance of the Trident Logo? How long has Beretta used it?

The creation of the Trident Logo also known as the Beretta "Three Arrows" trademark was inspired by a sculpture of carved by Guido Marussig, an artist from Treiste. Pier Guiseppe Beretta met poet Gabriele D'Annunzio and saw Marussig's carving, which was in place at the entrance of the poets Vittoriale villa. The carving itself  bears the motto "Go for Broke".  The Trident Logo has been used since the early 1950's.
