Why do rifles chambered for the Winchester Short Magnum cartridges cost more than the same model rifles chambered for other cartridges?

The difference in price is due to royalty fees that are paid by Beretta U.S.A. Corp. for every rifle chambered for the Winchester Short Magnum cartridge.
